In his debut on the Pure Music Nashville label, renowned fiddler, singer and songwriter Luke Bulla takes a well-deserved creative respite from touring with Lyle Lovett (and many others) to launch his second solo LP.
Who Loves You Better features Luke’s warm and engaging lead vocals and his artful fiddle playing on his co-writes and fresh arrangements of songs composed by Lyle Lovett, Buddy Miller, Guy Clark, David Gilmour (Pink Floyd), Cole Porter and J.R. Stuart.
Recorded at Zac Brown’s awesome Southern Ground Nashville, the LP was produced by Grammy nominee Bryan Sutton. Who Loves You Better showcases featured vocal performances by Sharon & Cheryl White, Maura O’Connell, Lee Ann Womack and Sara Jarosz complemented by a veritable A-List of Americana’s finest musicians including: Jerry Douglas, Noam Pikelny, Sam Bush, John Cowan, Sam Grisman, Bryan Sutton and many more!
Who Loves You Better represents a major step forward in Luke’s solo career, which began at as a singer in his touring family band at the tender age of 4 — whereby he quickly progressed by taking up fiddle at age 7. Fast forward to today, where Luke’s presence and maturity as a classic “triple-threat” entertainer (songwriter, vocalist and musician) comes thru clear as a proverbial bell. The LP is set for release November 15, 2015.
